Organische SEO waarmaken (1) : Schrijven van content
We hielden eerder een warm pleidooi voor Organische SEO. In deze reeks helpen we je dit met concrete tips in de praktijk brengen. Vandaag het eerste deel:
Schrijven van Content : De Inhoud
Laten we eenvoudig stellen dat de inhoud van jouw content aan twee voorwaarden moet voldoen:
- Ze moet interessant, relevant en uniek zijn voor gebruikers.
- Ze moet zoekmachines duidelijk maken waar je website rond draait.
Hoe rijmen we deze 2 voorwaarden?
- Kies de juiste keywords.
- Schrijf content rond en met deze keywords.
Kies je keywords
Stel bij de start van jouw blog een lijst op met relevante keywords. Er zijn verschillende manieren om dit aan te pakken:
Dit kan heel eenvoudig door in de statistieken van je website te neuzen, of door Google Webmaster Tools te gebruiken. (Gratis)
- Stel jezelf de volgende vragen:
- Welke woorden verwijzen terecht, en welke verwijzen onterecht naar je website?
- Naar welke pagina’s verwijzen deze keywords?
- Waarom verwijzen de onterechte keywords naar je website?
- Gaat het om kwaliteitsvolle keywords? (Blijven bezoekers lang op je website? Bekijken ze veel pagina’s? Bekijken ze de juiste pagina’s?)
- Op basis van bovenstaande antwoorden bepaal je welke keywords in je lijst mogen:
- Woorden die volgens jou terecht naar je site verwijzen.
- Woorden die volgens jou onterecht naar je site verwijzen, maar kwaliteitsvolle bezoeken opleveren.
Hierbij stel je eerst lijsten van basis en bijwoorden op, om ze vervolgens met elkaar te combineren, en te schrappen wat niet past.
- Lijsten opstellen.
- Basiswoorden
De kern van de zoekopdracht. Handel je in volvo’s, dan is dit bvb: “Volvo” of “wagen”. - Bijwoorden
Worden door bezoekers gebruikt om hun zoekopdracht te verduidelijken. In het volvo voorbeeld kan dit bvb. “goedkoop” of “tweedehands” zijn.
- Basiswoorden
- Lijsten combineren.
- Gebruik een van de vele gratis tools om je keywordlijsten te combineren tot zoekopdrachten.
- Schrap wat niet past.
- Analyseer de output die door de tools werd gegenereerd, en schrap wat volgens jou echt niet past. Voer bij twijfel de term zelf eens in bij verschillende zoekmachines om te zien wat de voorlopige resultaten hiervoor zijn. Heeft het zin voor jou om hier tussen te staan?
Gebruik een tool om de keyword density van een concurrerende website te bekijken. Keyword density is een duur woord voor het aantal keren dat een keyword – of keywordcombinatie – op een site voorkomt.
- Een aantal mogelijke tools zijn: (allen gratis)
- Filter de voor jou relevante keywords, en zet ze in je keywordlist.
De ‘domste’ manier voor het vinden van relevante zoektermen. Zeker voor nederlandstalige website niet altijd zo effectief.
- Voer een aantal keywords of een url in bij de Google Keyword Generator om relevante zoektermen te genereren.
- Selecteer de relevante zoektermen, en voeg ze toe aan je keywordlijst.
Begin met het schrijven van content
De keywords kunnen je bij het schrijven op verschillende manieren bijstaan:
- Als inspiratiebron.
Gebruik de keywords als uitgangspunt voor een goede brainstormsessie. De soms onverwachte combinaties leveren je waarschijnlijk een hoop frisse ideeën op voor nieuwe artikelen!
- Als leidraaid bij het schrijven.
Kies bij aanvang van het schrijven rond welke keywords het nieuwe artikel zal draaien. Gebruik consequent de keywords die je hebt uitgekozen. Ze geven richting aan je tekst, en helpen je keuzes maken tussen synoniemen.
- Als geraamte van je tekst.
Er zijn een aantal belangrijke plaatsen waar de gekozen keywords in moeten terugkomen. Niet enkel voor zoekmachineprestaties, maar vooral om de bezoeker te tonen waar de tekst over gaat.- In de titel van je artikel.
- In de inleiding van je artikel.
- In de tussentitels van je artikel, voor de paragrafen waarop ze van toepassing zijn.
- Voor het aanmaken van tags.
Sommige systemen geven je de mogelijkheid om ‘tags’ te koppelen aan je artikelen. Gebruik consequent de geselecteerde keywords voor dit artikel als tags.
- Om de verwachtingen van bezoekers in te schatten.
Hou in je achterhoofd welke verwachtingen een bezoeker heeft bij het intypen van de gekozen keywords. Probeer zoveel mogelijk in te spelen op die verwachting, en neem de bezoeker bij de hand.

I’ve been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.
I hate to be the one to repeat this. But, NO, illegals who have childeren here are or should not be citizens. That is there whole purpose being here. They want to come , get knocked up and feel thats there free ticket to America. Thats why we are being over populated with all these hispanics (island people)that are draining our way of life. I would corral all of the illegal family members up and send them back. I would not mind paying higher taxes for extra enforcment. Leuk artikel, voor Keyword Research zou ik toch sowieso ook De Google Adwords Keyword Tool aanraden, om zo een duidelijk beeld te krijgen van het maandelijks zoekvolume op bepaalde keywords.
