Webbouwers aarzelen soms om de Youreca bezoekersanalyses aan te bieden aan hun klanten. Het lijkt als een schuldbekentenis: “De site die we hebben opgeleverd is niet perfect, hij heeft analyse en aanpassingen nodig om dichter bij de perfectie te komen.” Logisch!
Het doel van een bezoekersanalyse
We proberen om ‘gevoel’, ‘mening’ en ‘ik denk dat…’ zoveel mogelijk buiten te sluiten, en te focussen op cijfermateriaal. Cijfermateriaal dat we gebruiken om de bezoekers beter te begrijpen. Waar klikken ze? Waarom klikken ze? Wat lezen ze? Waarom registreren ze (niet)? ….
De conclusies die we trekken op basis van dit cijfermateriaal, worden gebruikt om de site te tweaken. We proberen zo met schijnbaar kleine aanpassingen grote resultaten te boeken. Met onze follow-up analyses controleren we vervolgens wat het effect is van ons advies, en of we eventueel nog ergens kunnen bijsturen.
De eer van de webbouwer
We begrijpen dat deze manier van werken zowel voor webbouwer als voor klant vreemd kan overkomen. “De site is nog geen jaar oud en er zijn al aanpassingen nodig?”
Dit heeft echter niets te maken met de skills van de webbouwer. Er is namelijk geen theoretisch model voor het bouwen van de perfecte website. Hoe uw website scoort is volledig afhankelijk van het publiek dat u ermee bereikt, en de manier waarop zij zich online bewegen.
Veel webbouwers doen de moeite om hier op voorhand rekening mee te houden, en leveren daardoor ook websites op die al zeer goed presteren. Maar zelfs dan vinden we dankzij de cijfers nog ‘laaghangend fruit’: Kleine zaken die verbeterd kunnen worden om de prestaties toch nog te verbeteren.
De handen in elkaar slaan
Als we er in slagen de drie partijen op één lijn te krijgen: klant – webbouwer – youreca, dan zijn we in staat om samen grote successen te boeken. Elk met zijn onmisbare expertise, kunnen we zorgen voor meer bezoekers, en meer conversies.

Because it ties all beleifs (well not all but a lot) together. Like when people say they beleive in God, those who tend to laugh on the inside (I normally am one of them) can take a different view on it. I am not religious at all but that debate just keeps me wondering if there really is a God. I dont think there is, but I do think that some how a spectacular power or being keeps the universe alive and genertaing. I don’t mean that the universe is being controlled, I highly disagree with that. I wonder that what if the universe is being observed. But not by God. But John Weeler’s theory also has my respect as well. Back to my begining thought, how it ties it all together, that’s because a lot of religious people don’t like to think of certain events like the big bang or how he universe was created being linked to science. But the theory of Stephen Hawkings sort of, in a wy, proves them wrong. Even though beleifs can never be wrong, it just shows a whole new level of thinking. But once again I am undecided on which theory is more proboble. I want John Weeler’s to be more proboble, but the question really is, which one makes more sense with less complication. Yeah I know, I’m writing a lot…. With science I ramble. But it’s fun.

I love reading aloud to my younger cousins! I often end up reading The Cat in the Hat to them, not awesome s/f novels. But I enjoy being read to, as long as it’s a good book and the person reading it doesn’t have a monotone voice. Books on CD are great for the iPod and at home. OK a lot of this, don’t let him on the bed, kind of advice is based on the pack alpha gets the good sleeping place concept. However for an ineffective person who has problems asserting authority these little things may make the difference between the keeping any authority or having the dog get complatly out of control. .So my advice is go ahead let him sleep with you but DO take a basic obedience class (and practice with him from time to time all his life) – hard to claim you are the boss when sitting & downing to someone else orders! Even tricks like shake & roll over will help…

Good work guys, but I require little different solution. In A column, there are dates in mmddyyy format and in B column, there are two variables uses either “PASS” or “FIAIL”. All I want to do is to count the “PASS” in individual month range. Can someone help me in it. I am able to count days of month from the column A but can not link it with Column B. Regards, Johny
